| Bob Meadows, W6MTM, has been a "regular" at
the Radio Ranch since mid-1997. He says he tries never to miss an opportunity to go, calling it "God's country", and that he has known Jim Day for over
twenty years.
"Jim is a good leader and a super tech," Bob says. "I have sure learned a lot from this project, and I look forward to being involved as much as possible in the future."
Bob has been a ham for 30 years, and declares that he has learned more in the past year or so about antennas and rotors than most hams learn in 50 years. He enjoys climbing towers, and worked in the telephone business for 33 years, but is now retired.
Bob says of this job, "It has kept me off my butt, and busy --- not to mention a good
workout and fellowship!" |
