This page is unabashedly about who I am apart from Ham Radio.
It is a look at my life and those who have made me a happy husband, father and grandfather.
When I graduated from high school, I had already been a ham for two years.  In the US Navy during WW2, I thought I was so salty I crunched.

Middle-aged, successful in business, life was busy and exciting.

Our firstborn, Rick, with his BSBA from Menlo College of Business, was to have succeeded me in our business -- but he died in an auto accident when he was 33.

Three girls completed our family and filled our house with joy.

Grandchildren complete the cycle of life and keep us young…and sometimes"pooped".

With Claire, my wife & partner since right after WW2, retirement is a dream become reality.
